Video Transmission Distances
Maximum transmission distances for Kelsey SD-1 and other common
extended serial digital transmission cable types

These maximum distances are based on 30dB loss points except for the Image 750, 1000 and 2000 types at frequencies of 720MHz upwards, which are based on 20dB loss thresholds.

Bit Error Rate (BER) can vary a lot as the theoretical maximum lengths are approached, so it is suggested that 90% of the maximum lengths shown is used to allow a margin for bit errors.
